It's very serious. I plan to make Team Turbo a vital part in the community. I'm going to try to unite everyone through matches

Next month. I still have to think of the team selection process. Which method can be used.

At this moment I've narrowed it to this.

• Most active users in game that (I SEE)
  What (I FEEL would be the best team)
  Most active forum users
  
  or
  
  Random game online with scoreboards. Highest scorers will play.

I guess we should also talk about which maps we are happy playing on?

....and I hope we don't have to play on TOT servers........do we?

Yes. I'm fully supportive of ToT's servers. I personally find them to be the best ones around. It's a shame that nexuiz is so monopolized between a few servers though.

The map choices will be, one from us. one from them. and one totally random map if needed. which will be done by a vote from both teams

Fair enough. In the past it always felt slow, but I had another look and it seems better than I remembered.

Okay, I have joined the ToT-forum and will try to arrange the whole War-thingy with them. Here's what I worte there:

That looks great for me, I will be there - (even as a spectator if I don't make the team).

I wonder if we should indulge in some more team mode practice - I kept shooting at my team mate yesterday - reflex action, I shoot at anything that moves.....and even some things that don't - furniture, discarded weapons, map textures - I'm quite promiscuous where shooting at stuff is concerned....


EDIT - I'm also happy to make it a regular event against other clans. I guess not many people would be keen to spend every weekend on a Nexuiz allnighter, but monthly or bi-monthly sounds good.

I experience *just* the same - even though my reflexes are snail-like, it's just in my blood to see a player and then shoot, no matter if it's my mother or not. In real life I'd *never* shoot my mother with laserguns. Really not. We should keep that in mind.

Monthly sounds fine to me.

My personal thought would be to run one team for match 1. and if that team doesnt work out run a different set for match 2.

Truth be told I may very well be one of the main players in the world. In teamplay? Maybe not.

However I do believe rather strongly that sacrifices should sometimes be made. I also believe that everyone should at least play at some point during a match. EVEN though. 5v5

Need a server with 14 slots / 2 extra players each team. which would serve as people to be switched.

That is a god point. With limited slots we won't all be able to spectate and communication would have to by PM or email. Somewhere closer to 20 slots would be useful so we can all attend. The TOT CTF server has 28 slots - can we get a map list, and can they switch it to a TDM server temporarily?

Dunno about all attending, do we all need to attend?
